I am really proud of myself right now. I have been wanting to start doing vegan cookbook reviews on my YouTube channel for about a year now. Today I finally posted one!
This feels like an extra accomplishment for me right now, because lately I have been feeling like a hot mess! There have been changes at home to adjust to, while balancing my day job and business projects.
This video is not perfect, but I showed up anyway and did it. I wasn't sure even what my format would be for cookbook review. After doing this one, I have created one for next time.
Sometimes you need to show up and do the thing to figure out how to do it better. Perfection robs us of making progress.
Yesterday's blog post I posted a pole to choose the cookbook I review next. The pole closes 1/23/26 at 11:59pm EST . You can cast your vote on this post in the comments.

The choices are:
A. "The Little Pine Cookbook" by Moby
B. "The China Study Cookbook" by LeAnne Campbell, PhD
C. "The How Not To Die Cookbook" by Michael Greger, M.D., FACLM
Which one would you like me to cook from and review? Let me know in the comments below.

The cookies look amazing! I don't like broccoli, but both the salad and noodles look tasty and healthy. I agree that sometimes you have to just try something new and figure out what to tweak as you go! I would be interested in The China Study Cookbook. It is hard to beat Asian food.
What an awesome video! I loved broccoli and have to try that salad recipe! All the other books sound interesting but I would love to see a video from the Little Pine cookbook.
