July Didn't Go as Planned—And That's the Beauty of Showing Up Anyway

How is it July 31st already? At the beginning of this month, I had hoped to create a blog post for each day of this month. I was going strong for a bit and then I just didn't have the capacity to keep up with it. I shared in my first blog post of this month that this has been an extremely challenging year for me emotionally. You can read more about that in this post "What Happens After Everything Falls Apart? (Day One Of The July Ultimate Blog Challenge)"
This month had continuous challenges as well as some big wins. I am still in the process of crawling out of my emotional cocoon. Even though I haven't accomplished all I had hoped to by the end of this month, there has still been progress. I am going to give myself grace and acceptance of where I am today in this present moment. I am going to do my best to focus on progress instead of perfection. The fact that I was able to show up at all during this challenge in itself is a big win.
I am working on some exciting developments for The Confident Vegan that I am planning to launch in September. In the meantime, I will sprinkle in moments of productivity while also being gentle with myself.
Remember to always be kind and gentle to yourself. We are all doing the best that we can. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer. I am looking forward to participating in the October Ultimate Blog Challenge. I will hopefully see you before then when I am more active in September. All the best!

Hi Jennifer,
If it was easy, it would not be a challenge. Congrats for being able to check in and add some posts to your blog.
I missed a couple of weeks in the middle of the month, but I knew I would be unavailable during that time.
Some months I am off travelling the world to gather material for my blog.
I am amazed at how much longer it takes to post pictures and talk about the experience than it takes to capture the picture or video.
Looking forward to seeing your posts in October, but I will be travelling for the first week. There isn't enough time in a day to do both.
Blog on !
Jennifer, yes, Life is just full of turns and bumps! The point is, you did your best! You got some themes out there, and you'll share more in the future. (And please include any recipes you have involving hummus and involving olives.) All the best launching your new program!
