Sunday Morning 90s Music Playlist

The older I get, the more nostalgia I feel for the 90s. I was in high school in the 90s and the music of that time was my escape from challenging experiences at home. MTV actually played music and it was my gateway to self-expression. I admired the bands, the styles, the music, and the visuals on music videos.

For today's Ultimate Blog Challenge post, I thought it would be fun to create a little music video playlist of some of my favorite videos of the time.
What is some of your favorite music of the 90s? I would love to see your 90s playlist in the comments below.

I love REM! Among my favorite 1990s music are mostly artists I already liked in the 1980s ;-) Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi, Tina Turner, Céline Dion, Whitney Houston, Roxette, Ace of Base, to name a few.
I really love musical theater so I would say that some of my favorite 1990s music c omes from "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Lion King"!
Well I don't know any of those song but I'm much older than you and I'm more into country music. However I stumbled across a faith based radio station, K-LOVE. It's not only the the radio, it's also on the internet and has an app for phones. When I'm traveling I can pick up a local station that carries it so I don't miss my favorite songs.
I think I'd say En Vogue ("No you're never going to get it...") is my favorite group, but I also liked Jodeci, Boys II Men (End of the Road), Mariah Carey (Always Be My Baby), SWV (Weak), Destiny's Child (everything) and Blackstreet (No Diggity - 2nd fave song, I'd say). I did like some of the rock bands but usually, it was one song I liked like Smells Like Teen Spirit, etc.
"She Don't Use Jelly" is one of those songs you can't help singing along to, and I love that you got to see the Flaming Lips in concert last year. It says a lot that the music from those years still means so much to you, especially since it was your escape during a hard time. For my own 90s playlist, Oasis would be right at the top, and "Wonderwall" still gets me singing every time it comes on. This playlist is going to send a lot of us back to watching MTV in our heads, Jennifer.
