Milestone Anniversary, Candlelight Concert, & Snowpocalypse

I have missed a few posts recently for The Ultimate Blog Challenge for January. I am back at it today, and will do my best to finish up the rest of the month.

On 1/22 my husband (Eli) and I celebrated the 15th anniversary of our first date. We celebrated with some vegan lemon cherry cake from a local coffee shop. We have lived a lot of life together. I shared more about our story in a previous blog post. You can check it out here.

On Friday 1/23 we went to a Candlelight Concert in Poughkeepsie, NY with a couple of friends. The music was 90's themed. It was so much fun. The candles were beautiful and so was the music. It was fun and nostalgic listening to 90s tunes played from a string quartet. Click here learn more about other Candlelight Concerts in the area.

On Saturday we did a few more preparations for the big snow storm hitting parts of the U.S. right now. Here is a photo from my kitchen window. I am planning to do some cooking later and will share about that tomorrow.

Here is a photo from my kitchen window. How are you spending your weekend? Are you in the path of the snowstorm? Let me know in the comments.

Happy anniversary - and what a lovely way to celebrate!!

Here in W Oregon, it's just COLD (after a very mild winter - finally freezing!) Yesterday I went to the year-round farmers market with friends - so good to see the vendors after several weeks of not getting there!

And our friend Susie invited us to join her for her 75th BD in April, at Marakesh in Portland! She has a booth with beautiful silver and stone jewelry, and is an Indigenous SoulSister ♡.

Today was our 5th SoulCollage®️ training - 3 1/2 hours - wonderful - and - growth work is tiring!! So a nice nap and integration in the afternoon! (And of course cooking, made GF sourdough muffins…

Congratulations on your anniversary. As for the snow, yes, it snowed quite a bit here in Western New York, and tomorrow has already been announced to be a snow day. I look out the back window, and I can't even see the path that was dug earlier anymore. Right now, it looks pretty and white and peaceful. I hope that your snowy world is pretty and white and peaceful.

Congrats on the milestone. We also went to a candlelight concert last night. A good thing, since today we are completely snowed in!
