How To Eat Healthy Without Feeling Deprived

Awhile back I did a cookbook review for "The How Not To Die Cookbook" by Dr. Michael Greger. This cookbook is the companion do Dr. Greger's New York Times Bestseller "How Not To Die, which he released a 10 year anniversary addition for earlier this year. I listened to the audiobook version of "How Not To Die" and couldn't stop listening. Dr. Greger is informative and humorous. I believe everyone should read this book and also check out his website https://nutritionfacts.org/. Earlier this year Dr. Greger also released a documentary for "How Not To Die" that you can watch for free over here.

This cookbook shows examples of how plant-based eating can support our health without feeling restrictive or deprived.

The recipes I make:

  • Red Quinoa Loaf With Golden Gravy

  • Lemon-Roasted Brussel Sprouts & Carrots With Pecans

  • No-Bake Oatmeal Walnut Cookies

  • Two-Berry Pie With Pecan-Sunflower Crust

What is a recipe you would like to try from here? Have you made anything from this cookbook?

Loved this!! I'll have to check out this cookbook. The Red Quinoa Loaf With Golden Gravy and Lemon-Roasted Brussel Sprouts & Carrots With Pecans sounds absolutely lovely... I love quinoa and brussel sprouts. I just had a salad but I might just be hungry again now! Haha.

This cookbook is gorgeous, the photos are vibrant and the pages even feel beautiful (if that makes sense). I love the savory spice blend, the whole roasted cauliflower with tahini, and the strawberry banana nice cream, to name a few!
