Easy Oatmeal Cookies (Vegan, Gluten-Free, Oil-Free)


I love cookies! Since I discovered whole-food plant-based eating, I discovered you can eat cookies that are also healthy. Here is a recipe I shared on my YouTube channel.


Easy Oatmeal Cookies (Vegan, Gluten-Free, Oil-Free)

2 ripe bananas

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp maple syrup

1 1/2 cups of oats (Use GF certified if needed)

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup of raisins or vegan chocolate chips


  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 375F.


  • Mash the two bananas with a fork in a mixing bowl.


  • Add the vanilla, cinnamon, maple syrup, and mix until all the ingredients are combined. 


  • Add the oats, baking powder, and raisins or chocolate chips and mix until all the ingredients are combined.  Form the mixture into 8 balls, place on the baking sheet and flatten.


  • Bake for 12 minutes.


Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.  These are great for a healthy snack or grab-&-go breakfast option. Enjoy! What other types of recipes would you like me to share? Let me know in the comments.
