A Moment in Time, Revisited

I recently came across this photo of my son, with his duck (who is named Ducky), and our cat Menorah. The photo is dated February 2014. Joseph is going to be 21 next month and Menorah turned 15 in June. Ducky is still special and will always be around.

This morning Menorah and Joseph were hanging out on the couch. I couldn't help snapping a photo.

It's so sweet seeing them hanging out together still all these years later. The first photo seems so long ago and not so long ago all at the same time.
